It is with great joy and pride that, for a fourth year in a row, and thanks to your generosity, we are able to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to Home Benedict Labre. More than $2,000 was accumulated last November on our donation days: Dr Duranleau, Dr Ippolito and Dr Beaudry gave their day's proceeds and generous patients also made personal donations during this fundraising initiative. These funds will be used to buy fresh fruits and vegetables from the supplier Dix Étoiles.
Home Benedict Labre is a day shelter for people in precarious situations located in the Griffintown neighbourhood of Montreal. Founded in 1952, Home Benedict Labre is deeply rooted in the Montreal community and is heavily dependent on donations and volunteerism. Its staff and volunteers are committed to providing the homeless with 168 hot meals a day, clothing, showers and personalized programs and services. They currently have 500 volunteers that enable them to carry out their various programs.
